Amy Amy Janet JanetAubrey Plaza is a comedian and actress born in the month of June, 1984. Her irreverent sense of humor is what has made her a highly sought-after option for comedy. Plaza plays April Ludgate, a character in the "Parks and Recreation" series. After performing improv and Sketch Comedy at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater and performing her first web-based show in the form of "The Jeannie Tate Show", Plaza went on to play Juddah Apalow's "Funny People" and Scott Pilgrim vs. the World after her death. It's her birthday! Aubrey Christina Plaza, daughter of financial advisor David Plaza and attorney Bernadette Plaza, was born in Wilmington Delaware. Her father is Puerto Rican, while her mother is Irish and English. Plaza earned a degree from the New York University's Tisch School of the Arts and a Catholic girls' college, and both of them in 2002. She was the president of her student body at her high school as well as a participant in Wilmington Drama League productions during her senior years. Plaza, who was just entering her sophomore year at college at the time of her stroke and was suffering from expressive aphasia, as well as a paralysis period.
